★ General Info 🍢 NAME: Ryoko Asakura 🍢 CANON: The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, an AU spinoff manga of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 🍢 AGE: 19, in the second half of her final year of high school 🍢 CANON POINT: Chapter 75, The Disappearance of Ryoko Asakura VII 🍢 GENERAL PROFILE: A normal high school girl attenting North High, member of the Literature Club. Taking care of Yuki Nagato, finished helping her with her crush. Soon, moving to Canada. Not a murderous alien interface. Still kind of a backup. 🍢 BRIEF PERSONALITY: A cute girl, responds well to compliments, worries constantly over her friends. Scary when angry. Overthinks sometimes, but doesn't take the time to think much about herself. Ryoko Asakura Does Her Best. ★ First Impressions 🍢 VISUAL: Long blue hair, typically clipped at the back, bangs parted. Fairly noticeable eyebrows. Blue eyes to match. She's about 5'3 as well. 🍢 FASHION: She dresses like a mom, mostly. 🍢 DEMEANOUR: Ryoko tries her best to be a kind and reliable person, generally approachable for the most part. If she gets mad however, she gets mad. As in, there's incredible pressure coming from her mad. 🍢 SOUND: Voiced by Natsuko Kuwatani in Japanese (Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden, Emi Handa from Handa-kun, Erika Furude from Umineko) and Bridget Hoffman in English (Irisviel von Einzbern from Fate/Zero, Nia Teppelin from Gurren Lagann, Fuu Hououji from Magic Knight Rayearth) 🍢 MENTAL INFORMATION: Not particularly top of her class, but she's able to be a decent enough mentor. Probably constantly thinking of either Yuki Nagato or oden. Will probably think a lot about home. 🍢 MAGICAL INFORMATION: Knows nothing of the supernatural. Not a fan of ghosts or spooky things. ★ OOC 🍢 BACKTAGGING: I will backtag as long as I can if necessary. If I'm not sure about the thread going anywhere, I may drop it... just shoot me a PM and I'll give it a tag! 🍢 FOURTHWALLING: Fine with light fourth-wall breaking. EYE COLOR: Also blue?!
STYLE: Ryoko dresses casually, usually looking quite like a mom. She has long hair, kept in place with a hair clip and her bangs showing off her forehead and pronounced eyebrows! Her magical girl outfit is frilly and looks similar to a school uniform, and she usually puts her hair in a ponytail while transformed.
SCENT: Soap an' shampoo-- nothing super special.
VOICE: In Japanese, she's voiced by Natsuko Kuwatani. She speaks properly and sometimes, overdramatically. In English, she's voiced by Bridget Hoffman. This clip shows off her more fussy side too, so enjoy that.
DEMEANOR: As pleasantly as possible! On the day to day, Ryoko can be a bit chatty and keep up with the local color pretty well. She tends to keep a low profile when she's not feeling well, and she's become a pro at faking niceties if needed.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Mundanely, Ryoko is a fantastic cook. She pretty much prepped a Christmas meal (turkey included!) on her own, and constantly cooks for her best friend. Also, as an aside, her skill with knives has been described as "terrifying".

As a magi, she gains the ability to create a protective Closed Space around her and those around her, acting as a shield and a healing bubble at once. She can't hold it up for too long, or it'll start to take a physical toll on her. Ryoko also has the ability to exude a terrifying aura around her when she's overly angry, which cancels out her Closed Space and depending on how scared her enemy is of her at the moment, may be paralyzing. Finally, she has a slash/parry attack that she hasn't really used much yet. All of this stuff can be found here in greater detail.

CLOSE CR: Very rarely spotted without her lovely girlfriend Taiga Aisaka at her side. Ryoko's spending a lot more time with her lately now that they've finally started to ease up on overthinking the relationship thing. At least, Ryoko has anyway. She still visits Yayoi and Atsushi at Cafe Shayou, and will try to hang out with Yuuto whenever he decides to sneak outside.
WHERE DO THEY LIVE? Top Level, City Center! She's living in a modern-looking two bedroom apartment with Taiga and their housing spirit, Kotori. Ryoko occasionally has to leave in order to cook poultry. Go figure.
SCHOOLING/JOBS: Ryoko's thinking of doing university stuff soon, but otherwise she's operating an oden stand now! Usually around noon and then after sundown. Yes, she's looking at serving drinks.
HOBBIES: These days, she's cooking more and more. She also is very good at shopping and getting deals, which means a lot less when money doesn't matter too much. Has also lately started to exercise a lot more, getting herself into shape to clear her mind!
GO TO CONVERSATION: Taiga. Oden. She'll still talk about her time as a magi, but she's trying her damnedest not to go too in-depth. She's trying to leave that past behind now that she's gotten most of it out of her system.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO NOW? Existing and focusing on herself, letting the others handle the June stuff. She's generally about and running her stand, and might be uh, actively avoiding Canis Major at the moment.
