[Yuuto doesn't reply immediately. Wherever he's gone to hide isn't fixing things. He's scared of the way that Inaba doesn't reply, but figures it's better anyway. He's not fun to be around right now.
[After he's had a chance to walk around his home and make some tea, trying to sort through everything he read online, Ryoko finally gets her check-in text:]
That's okay. It's not like that's something we knew could happen. Right?
I'm glad to hear that... I wasn't sure what was going to happen though. I wouldn't have known what to do if they turned out to be monsters or anything.
[Ryoko will be getting a bouquet of yellow roses (totally normal,) and box of handmade chocolates to share with Taiga. Yuuto has written a little note:
”Happy Valentines Day, Ryoko & Taiga. I love you both soo much! Let’s be together forever!”]
[ It would be smart to provide some context in many cases when sending a text. This is an action that allows the other party to have a greater understanding of what is going on, and is particularly recommended when speaking to someone who may have anxiety. Some would even call it a necessary courtesy that you owe, so everything is treated with the appropriate level of care for the situation.
Unfortunately, that's not what Ryoko gets. ]
